After application, REVOLUTION enters the bloodstream through the skin. Concentrations of REVOLUTION in the blood and tissues prevent heartworm disease. REVOLUTION selectively redistributes from the blood to the skin, where it provides protection against fleas, flea eggs, American dog ticks and mites.
Easy to apply, quick to dry, REVOLUTION (selamectin) protects dogs against a variety of common internal and external parasites. REVOLUTION is the first FDA-approved, topically applied medication for dogs 6 weeks and older that:
- Prevents heartworm disease
- Kills adult fleas

IMPORTANT NOTICE
- Dogs should be tested for heart worm prior to using REVOLUTION
- Do not apply REVOLUTION to your pet if already giving an alternate heartworm medication
- When switching from another heartworm medication, begin REVOLUTION when the next dose of the heartworm medication is due.
Use only as Directed
Dosage:
Use one 0.25ml tube per dog over 2.5kg and up to 5kg.
Hold the tube upright. Firmly press the cap down until you hear a click (from the cap puncturing the seal on the tube).
Remove the cap, and check to make sure the tip of the tube is open.
Part your pet's hair at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible, and place the tip of the tube against the skin.
Squeeze the tube 3 or 4 times to empty the entire contents onto the skin in one spot. Ensure that the tube is empty.
